Daniel E. SchleyDan Schley is the owner of Appraisals by Schley LLC, a Milwaukee-based full service residential appraisal firm. The company provides a multitude of appraisal services for lenders, Realtors, attorneys and other individuals who wish to place a market value on residential real estate.
EXPERIENCE Mr. Schley has been engaged full time in appraising real property since 1986. He previously was employed by Robert S. Schley and Associates. Prior to that, Mr. Schley sold real estate for three years. Mr. Schley has completed biannual Appraisal Standards and continuing education classes as mandated by the State of Wisconsin. Mr. Schley is a State of Wisconsin certified residential appraiser #245-9 and is certified by the Department of Housing and Urban Development to prepared appraisals for FHA lending. ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIPS Mr. Schley is a member of the Milwaukee Board of Realtors, Wisconsin Realtors Association, the National Realtors Association, the Multiple Listing Service of Milwaukee, Historic Milwaukee, Milwaukee County Historic Society, St. Sebastian Church and the Washington Heights Neighborhood Association. He currently is a board member of Milwaukee Chamber Theatre and is an emeritus board member of Camp Manito-wish YMCA. He served on the Hope House Milwaukee board as president, on the Washington Heights board as secretary and vice president, and on the West End Vliet Street Business Association as vice president. He was a member of the 1997 class of Future Milwaukee, an invitation-only community leadership program. Mr. Schley is a Notary Public in the state of Wisconsin. EDUCATION Mr. Schley earned a Bachelor of Arts Mathematics in 1980 from Colgate University, Hamilton, New York after graduation from Nicolet High School in Glendale, Wisconsin. |
